…fascinating, fun, memorable

Hundreds of people have had a great time at Tumbeela.
It has been described as fascinating, fun, informative, certainly educational and even inspirational. Some folk even say it makes them proud to be an Aussie!

Right from the outset guests are challenged by new tastes, new aromas and new experiences. For most quests it’s a unique experience.

be it sunshine or rain

Walking amongst the lemon myrtle trees on a fine day is a sublime experience - on a chilly winter’s day it’s something else -so we bring the trees to you in our cozy shed... Inside or out the choice is yours.

In the main the farm is gently sloping so walks around the fields are not suitable for folk with wheel chairs or walking frames. Tumbeela tours however are still ideal and great fun for adults of all ages and mobility as we modify our program to suit our guests.

THE MEDIA

The media is a great barometer of public interest. Sometimes it leads the way and sometimes it follows, but which ever way,
it has certainly focused on Tumbeela and the emergence of the native foods movement.

Tumbeela Native Bushfoods has featured widely in newspapers, magazines and television. Modesty however, prevents us from detailing all, but we can’t resist name dropping just a few :

ABC Gardening Australia (TV), The George Negus Show (ABC TV), The Australian Gourmet Traveler, Delicious and Country Style magazines.

A Google search on Tumbeela reveals further fascinating articles and comment.
